This song means everything to me and says something I’m not able to put into words. The physical wounds in my music video represent the wounds that you normally don’t see – the emotional ones.
I was at my lowest when I wrote this song. I shouldn’t have defended a love that was unhealthy, yet I chose to do so both in my song and the music video. After his actions, he is not vilified, you only see that he feels sorry. I hope “SAME OLD SORRY” is as much of a home to you as it is to me ♡
